Co-operative banks will now be updated on the lines of private banks

Cooperative Minister Vishwas Sarang held a divisional review meeting of officials of cooperative and related departments on Thursday. Joint Commissioner BL Makwana, Indore Deputy Commissioner Madan Gajbhiye and other officials were present in it.

In the meeting, Minister Sarang directed the officials to innovate in the department and work with new thinking, transparency and honesty. Work on the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption. Financial irregularities and any kind of disturbance and negligence will not be tolerated. Upgrade cooperative banks like private banks. Fill all the vacant posts of central cooperative banks soon. Increase the number of women members in cooperative societies. Form cooperative societies under the One District One Product program. Take them forward by giving them financial help. Mobile Sanchi parlors should be established through cooperative institutions. Cooperation should also be promoted in the sports sector.
