Efforts are being made for the upliftment of sports, players and playgrounds and development of youth in Madhya Pradesh: Sarang

The innovative efforts being made in the field of sports and youth welfare in Madhya Pradesh have taken the state to new heights. To increase the interest of youth towards sports and their overall development, the state government has started important innovations like 'Fit India Club', 'Parth Yojana', 'Khelo Badho Abhiyan' and (MPYP) (Madhya Pradesh Yuva Prerak Abhiyan'. Through these schemes, the sports grounds, players and sports activities of the state have got a new dimension. Minister Kailash Sarang shared these views in the Khel Chintan Shivir organized in Hyderabad, Telangana on Saturday. Giving information about the sports infrastructure available in Madhya Pradesh, Minister Sarang said that 11 sports academies have been established for 18 sports in the state. The objective of the state government is to connect the youth with sports and prepare them for competition at the national and international level. For this, world-class high quality sports infrastructure has been prepared in Madhya Pradesh. Training, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities are being provided in these 11 sports academies as per international standards. He said that we are constantly trying to develop Madhya Pradesh as a sports hub. Our resolve is that every youth gets an opportunity to fulfill their dreams in the field of sports and they can showcase their talent in the country and abroad.

Innovations of Madhya Pradesh received national appreciation A special presentation was given on the sports model of Madhya Pradesh in the third session of the second day of the Khel Vitan Camp. In this, information was shared about the development of sports infrastructure in the state, providing world-class facilities to the players and innovations made to connect the youth with sports. Union Minister Dr. Mandaviya appreciated the increasing inclination of youth towards sports in the state, establishment of modern sports academies and continuous efforts being made to hone sports talent. The Madhya Pradesh model particularly attracted the attention of representatives of various states, sports experts and policy makers participating in the camp.

Emphasis on further strengthening the sports recruitment policy
Minister Sarang participated with Union Minister Dr. Mandaviya in the third session of the second day of 'Khel Chintan Shivir', Welfare of Sports Persons and Coaches and Sports Recruitment Policy. In this session, important discussions were held on the welfare of players and coaches and further strengthening the sports recruitment policy. On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Smt. Defence Nikhil Khadse, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Mizoram Pu Lalnandinglova Hmar were also present.

Brainstorming on establishing India as a global sports superpower
In the Khel Chintan Shivir held under the chairmanship of Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports and Labor and Employment Dr. Mandaviya, a detailed roadmap was prepared to increase India's sports future and India's sports dominance at the global level. During the camp, Sports Ministers, Sports Administrators and Experts of various States and Union Territories shared the efforts being made for the development of sports in their respective states. Also, detailed discussions were held for the necessary policy reforms, strengthening of infrastructure, welfare of players and encouragement of coaches to establish India as a global sports superpower.
