The city's busiest and largest swimming pool Prakash may soon come to the Sports Department. The Sports Department has expedited the process to take it. The Sports Department has sent a letter regarding its operation to the Public Works Department. After the closure of CPA, it is being operated by the Public Works Department. Along with this, the process related to the operation of BHEL Sports Complex has also been expedited. This news came to light in the review meeting of the Sports Department. On Wednesday, Sports Minister Vishwas Sarang was reviewing the Sports Department at TT Nagar Stadium. Let us tell you that since a year, there is news of Prakash Swimming Pool being handed over to the Sports Department. Its process was also going on. The Sports Minister was taking information from the officials on Wednesday about where the matter is stuck. Actually, the Sports Department had opened a swimming academy a few years ago. Due to not having its own pool, the academy was started from Hoshangabad, but the academy ran for two years and then had to be closed. After that, a triathlon academy was started. Triathlon players practice in this swimming pool. There is a fixed time for them. By coming to the Sports Department, the pool will be able to be operated technically and professionally and the players will get a chance to practice according to their convenience. Additional Chief Secretary Manu Shrivastava, Sports Director Rakesh Gupta, Deputy Secretary Ajay Shrivastava, Joint Director BS Yadav were present in the meeting.
