Single window facility will provide quick solution: Vishwas Sarang

Cooperative Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang in Madhya Pradesh has announced the establishment of a special CPPP wing for the effective implementation of the Co-operative Public Private Partnership (CPPP) model. Through this wing, a single window platform will be provided to cooperatives, farmers and private investors for investment related permissions, guidance and procedures. Minister Sarang reviewed the progress of the CPPP model by holding a meeting with departmental officials in the ministry on Tuesday. He informed that this initiative is being taken in compliance with the instructions of Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah. This wing will work in coordination with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (M.P.IDC). He said that through this platform the MoU processes will be simple, transparent and effective. Along with this, training workshops and a massive seminar will also be organized for cooperative banks, committees and farmers. Sarang directed that performance-based grading of all the cooperative societies of the state should be done so that their functioning, transparency and innovation capability can be evaluated. This initiative is expected to give new direction and energy to the cooperative sector in the state.
