Sports infrastructure will be built in the state on PPP mode

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang held a review meeting of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department on Monday. In the meeting, he directed the officials to create an environment for setting up sports infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh on PPP mode. So that the youth can get adequate resources and they can wave their flag in the country and abroad. Minister Sarang said that unprecedented work is being done for the creation of a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To achieve this goal, it is very important to develop youth power. He said that along with the development of sports and players, the department should also pay special attention to youth welfare. Minister Sarang took information about the departmental activities in the meeting and gave necessary guidelines for the upcoming action plan. Providing the best possible facilities to the players is our priority. Participation of youth and women in sports will also have to be ensured. Gave instructions to prepare an action plan to include PPP mode for sports infrastructure development.
Water sports should be promoted in Bhopal
Minister Sarang said that there is adequate availability of water sources in Bhopal, this will also help in the expansion of water sports. He said that tourism will also increase with the promotion of water sports.
Prepare a 5-year roadmap
Minister Sarang directed to organize a two-day 'Khel Chintan Program' within a month to prepare a roadmap for the next 5 years in the department. In this program, a group of sports experts and players should be formed and their suggestions should be invited. A roadmap should be prepared after considering their conclusions. Minister Sarang said that to ensure sports stadiums in every district, first of all the sports stadiums of all the districts of the state should be mapped. Along with this, new sports stadiums should be given a new look as per the advice of architect experts, so that players can get more playing space.
